Vision Behind AHIS
The philosophy of what we want to achieve is simple: a world wherein everyone has access to safe and affordable housing. Through AHIS, we want to initiate a dialogue about affordable housing with all its key stakeholders which include Investors, consultants, real estate developers, contractors, engineers, quantity surveyors, architects, designers, property owners, lawyers, financiers, journalists and caseworkers.
We’ve identified two primary areas where we want to direct our efforts: first, a substantial increase in the inflow of investments for the affordable housing sector along with a diligent reassessment of the housing finance sector of Africa. Second, to figure tangible and scalable solutions to have more qualified players in the market along with a better product line.
Mission of AHIS
AHIS as a conference involves a dedicated team of industry experts along with other key stakeholders to gain insights on the collective vision of affordable housing, achieved through innovative and sustainable ways.
The conference also provides a platform for all the involved players of the market to network with industry leaders and other leading professionals. The culmination of the conference brings forth with it a deep insight into how different housing association sectors can collaborate with the public to improve dynamics on the affordable housing front.
